Paul's Place Restaurant & Bkry.

2991 G St, Merced, CA 9530

The food is consistently well prepared and tasty. The Staff is friendly and efficient. Their "Specials" board contains at least a dozen entres from which to choose (ex. Meatloaf; New York Steak; pork Ribs; Stew; Sopas; etc.). And their regular menu is very diverse (Fish and Chips; Hamburgers; Hot or Cold Sandwiches; Spaghetti; Soups; etc.).
So, if you want good food at a good price, in a friendly atmosphere, Try Paul's Place. I'm sure you make it one of you favorites, too.

Mi Casa Cafe
(209) 723-0529
2015 E Childs Ave # E
Merced, CA 95340

This is the best Mexican Restaurant in the area. They now feature a full-time Buffet that includes all the excellent dishes they have on their regular menu. Don't let the word Buffet fool you. The dishes are made from scratch and not the usual "buffet-style" foods of substandard quality. Everything is A-1 here.
Along with the traditional Mexican dishes the Buffet features home-style fried chicken and the most mouth-watering short ribs I have every tasted.
The hosts and staff are very friendly and the service is top notch.
So, try this jewel of a little restaurant and I'm sure you'll make it one of your regular spots to eat.

Located in the Heart of Downtown Merced, Fernando's Bistro is one of the newest and best restaurants in the area.
Bob Hart Square lends just the right atmosphere for a casual lunch or a leisurely dinner.
Lunches can be enjoyed for less then $10 and dinners for under $20.
I have found Fernando's Bistro to be very consistent in their quality and the service is well above average.
I would would recommend Fernando's Bistro to anyone who appreciates good food, made with expertise and served in an enviroment conducive to the full enjoyment of the dining experience.
